Ebony is a girl that I really wanted to keep, but I have to downsize. She has a beautiful fleece with the quality characteristics of her Elite Sire, Inca Magistrate. Her fleece (May 2023) was Micron 18.2 and SD 4.0 with lovely character and handle, she has excellent coverage. She has perfect conformation, a beautiful head type and is just a fabulous female. She also has the lovely friendly character of her sire and was easy to halter train last year. She bred easily to our multi prize winning grey, Rushmere Gregorious and her cria next year is one I was really looking forward to seeing. She is due on the 9th April 2025.

Fancy That Breeze, is a stunning girl, who I am going to really struggle to let go. She has the most luscious fleece with incredible length, density and character. She is so well grown for her age and has beautiful conformation, with a lovely deep head and a solid frame.

Her sire is our Fancy boy, Natterjack Disney, so she has a lot of potential for coloured breeding in the future. 

She is quiet and gentle like her mum and is doing great with halter training.

Fancy That Paloma: Multi White/Mid fawn

Fancy That Paloma, is a multi and looks very like her mum when she was younger. Her Dam, Summerhaze Tia, has had six  incredible appaloosa or multi cria and Paloma actually has a few more spots than her, so we think that in the future she is a very exciting prospect for breeding  Appaloosa’s or Fancy’s. Having grey in the female’s pedigree gives them a much higher likelihood of breeding appaloosa and her grey sire is one of the real top ones, winning multiple prizes over his long showing career.

She is also a very sweet girl, a real favourite here. She is super friendly and chilled and will just stand easily to be handled.

Fancy That Amber Rose: Light Rose Grey

Fancy That Amber Rose is a beautiful girl with two stunning grey parents. She had grey markings when she was young, so we are pretty sure that she is genetically grey. She has been genetically tested by Neogen and is definitely genetically Grey. She has a lovely long staple length to her fleece, with a nice crimp style and fabulous coverage. She is a big strong girl and is easy to handle. As she is not expressing her grey genetics, she would need to be paired with a genetically dark male in the future, for the grey gene to express itself fully.

She is currently being halter trained and is doing well.

Fancy That Eclipse: Bay Black

Eclipse is a little gem, both her parents are stunning greys and she just has so much class from her wonderful pedigree. Her Dam won the only class that she has been entered into and her Sire Gregorious is the son of the legendary grey Nyetimber and he is a multi prize winner himself. 

Eclipse will make a wonderful addition to a herd and I would be very excited to see the colour and quality of the progeny she would have in the future.

Fancy That Belle: Light Fawn

Belle was just the prettiest cria, hence her name. She was everything I hoped that her Sire would produce. He won the only class that he entered and had a stunningly fine, dense and uniform fleece, he also passed on incredible staple length which Belle at only 5 months of age was 105.0 mm.

Belle’s dam is a beautiful dark coloured appaloosa, so it was a really hard decision to let her go, as I would love to keep both the genetics of her Sire and Dam. 

She is currently being halter trained and is doing well.

Fancy That Elodie: Blue-eyed White

Fancy That Elodie is a very sweet girl, with big beautiful blue eyes. She wasn’t quite what was planned but is perfect nonetheless. She obviously carries the white spot gene where there is a lack of pigment which can cause deafness. She can be bred, without any issues,  but only to a fully dark brown/black animal with no white face markings. She gets on beautifully with the herd, is well grown and healthy and is doing so well with halter training, she is very sweet and curious and is very much loved by all of us here.

Leila is a stunning grey girl with a lot of grey on both sides of her pedigree, which means she is much more likely than others to produce the very sort-after grey colours. Her Dam is a champion imported grey female – NZ Southern Chantellinis of Urcuchillay (Imp) and her sire is the well- known imported grey male – Urcuchillay Smokin’ Ace (Imp).  She gave us a beautiful grey boy last year. Leila is just a fantastic all-round female, she is young and healthy, a fantastic mum and a really good weight which she retains whilst pregnant and feeding her cria. She is easy and friendly and will be very missed here. Due to getting late in the year, we gave her a year off, so whoever buys her may have a free mating here, to a choice of our top-quality herd sires. She can be mated from May.

Cosmos has retained a fantastic fineness to her fleece, which in 2021 was still 17.9 mic, this is a brilliant trait to breed into your herd. We are keeping both of her female cria that we have, as they both have beautiful fleeces. Her grandfather is Dovecote Jaquinto of AUK (Imp) still one of the most highly decorated alpacas. 

Cosmos is a fantastic mum to her beautiful quality cria, she is very easy to breed and mates easily. She has had many multi coloured cria even when mated to solid colour males, so we are particularly excited to see what she produces to our fabulous multi boy Disney. 

She is mated to our top multi stud Natterjack Disney and she is due 23.08.24. 

She is such a low price for her quality as she is a bit older. She is incredibly healthy and does not carry a lot of weight so currently there is no reason that she cannot continue breeding for a number of years.

Chloe is a very pretty girl, with a long staple and a super fine fleece. Her first fleece stats were incredible at micron 15.5 and SD 3.8. Its not surprising as she has great genetics on both sides. Her grey Sire Bozedown Elector was placed 1st at the National Show. The tutor who came here also looked at her fleece as she has an interesting high-frequency crimp to her fleece and he was very complimentary about her density, fineness and uniformity. She is a very straightforward and healthy girl. Her grey heritage was more obvious when she was a cria, she had a much whiter face, typical of the classic grey of her sire. She has developed more into a fawn, but the grey genetics are still there.

As a young girl she is currently  open, so whoever buys her may have a free mating here to a choice of our top-quality herd sires. She can be mated from May.

Astrea is a fantastic healthy girl, she holds her weight incredibly and needs very little supplementary feed to maintain weight. Astrea is one of the only alpacas we have kept from our very first herd purchase as  (though a little plump now!) she has lovely conformation and fleece traits and her cria always have fantastic square, strong frames, great head shapes, they grow really well and have long dense fleece. She is a fantastic mum and has given us some beautiful cria, Corinth her cria last year was a lovely boy, very sweet and friendly and with a wonderful head and frame and a fantastic fleece. We have repeated the mating this year, so very excited to see her cria next year. Astrea has two multi parents herself, so bred to a multi, there is a strong chance that the pattern comes through this year.

Epoch Sable – Solid Light Fawn – Sold

Sable is a pretty girl with a lovely soft-handling fleece.  We looked at her fleece on an assessment course and the tutor really liked it, said it was fine, uniform and very low on guard hair. She has correct conformation and a very well-known grey sire, Bozedown Elector (1st place junior grey Male at the National Show). Sable should produce some really beautiful cria in the future. She is ready too breed this year. She is a very gentle girl, very unassuming and not pushy at all. You would need to make sure she was getting her fair share of feed, as she tends to get pushed off by the more bolshy ones! She is healthy, easy to handle and would be a fabulous addition to a herd. Her Dam has a really dense fleece with a lovely crimp, which comes from her outstanding pedigree.

She comes with a free mating this year to any of our fabulous herd sires, here on the farm.
