Phantom is a stunning-looking boy. Apart from his eye-catching colouring, he also has a lovely square frame, beautiful head shape and excellent conformation. His fleece is superfine, with great uniformity,  good length and density. His coverage is excellent.

Phantom would make a fantastic stud, as he has very strong coloured genetics. His Dam (shown in the first photo) is almost reverse colouring, being mostly true black and his Sire is the wonderful coloured Natterjack Disney. 

He is also a very sweet boy, chilled and easy to handle, he is halter trained and would make a wonderful pet and/or stud boy.

Fancy That Bhaloo: Bay Black

Bhaloo is a firm favourite here, not least because his mum is one of our loveliest alpaca of all time. She is the sweetest and most friendly girl we have and Bhaloo has many of her lovely characteristics. Though still a cria we can see that he is going to be a really nice chilled boy and would I am sure make a great trekker or pet. 

He is a beautiful rich bay black colour and his fleece is nice and dense. He is very playful and is so fun to watch with his friends.

Bhaloo is very healthy and gaining weight well, he has a lovely look including his mum’s huge and gorgeous eyes.

Fancy That Canto: Mid Fawn

Canto is a gorgeous caramel colour and he has lovely character to his fleece. His dam is a beautiful appaloosa and his sire a stunning fancy.

Canto is very well grown and has quite an unusual fleece style on his head, which gives him a very characterful  look.

He has lots of long staple, soft-handling fleece. He is well-handled and taking to halter training really well.

Nebula is a stunning boy, a beautiful white with strong brown spots all through his fleece. His fleece has an incredible handle with fabulous density and though still young,  a very good staple length. He is already exhibiting a lovely crimp style with high amplitude.

His conformation is correct, strong and with a broad head style.  His Sire is a multi-prize winning black, Chinchero Rufus, which is fantastic for breeding colour forward in appaloosas and with Popham Thunder, Inca Flagship and Furze Park Fury, to name a few in his pedigree, he will make a very promising herd sire for anyone wanting to breed appaloosas.

Currently being halter trained, which he is taking in his stride, he is a sweet-natured boy and easy to handle.

I would love to keep Defiant, but I just have too many boys. He is really beautiful with a stunning fleece, fantastic coverage of fleece and wonderful length and density. Exactly what I was hoping for, from the pairing, but just not quite enough spots! He very likely has the appaloosa gene as his mum is a top-quality appaloosa, he does have one brown spot and he definitely had a large colour patch on his back when very young, which has since faded. So I believe he is an appaloosa which has not expressed itself fully. His sire is the prize-winning Summerhaze Valiant, a medium fawn with a really beautiful fleece. 

Defiant is a very sweet boy, easy to handle and coming along very well with his halter training.

Fancy That Flynn: Light Fawn/Beige

Flynn was not quite what I expected, given his Appaloosa Sire and his Dark Multi Dam but no less special for that! He has a white head and a darker mid fawn patch on his neck and a fawn body. I will be interested to see what colour he is when sheared.  He is very curious and has a lovely nature. He loves playing with his friends and is just a very sweet boy.

He is very good to handle and doing very well with Halter Training he will make a wonderful pet, trekker or companion.

Inca Magistrate is a very striking male who has great style and presence and a genuinely elite fleece.  He has great conformation, with a lovely square frame and great substance of bone. We bought him from the top stud, Inca Alpacas 3 years ago, to breed real quality into our herd. 

Magistrate has more than lived up to our hopes and given us some stunning cria the last three years. He has given us so many fantastic female cria that are replacing current breeding females, that we need to move him on. He is bred from a female called Inca Justice 2, who is so good she is co-owned between Bozedown Alpacas and Inca Stud. Inca Magistrate brings the benefits from his dam and her proven pedigree and also the uniform influence from his multi-champion sire Surtierra Shadow.

This is a real bargain for a fantastic male. We bought him for over double this price, but as we do not have the name or reputation of that world-renowned breeder of black alpacas, we do not feel we can ask the same price for the same animal. 

Inca Magistrate moves well and has great proportion. His fleece is very dense, bright and uniform in micron. We also fell in love with this boy as he has the sweetest temperament which he seems to have passed onto his offspring, as well as his stunning looks.

He is very easy to handle and is perfect with the females, confident and strong, but not over pushy, he is also brilliant in the field with his fellow stud males and the young males waiting to be studs.

Magistrate is fantastic at mating and had the most success of any male we have ever had, with most matings taking first time. We have been bowled over by the quality of cria he has produced. All are fantastic black or beautiful brown colours, even when mated to solid white females. 

I just really can’t say enough good things about this Stud, he would be fantastic for any herd wanting to breed dark colours, with elite genetics and great pedigrees. I will be really sorry to see him go.

Neptune really is a lovely Appaloosa. His Dam is a Dark colour which really helps with getting some dark markings in the fleece and is really helpful genetically to keep passing on this unusual colouring. His fleece is high quality, dense and with a long staple length. Also fine and uniform. His Micron is 17.3 and SD of 3.6  His sire is the beautiful imported stud male Kelmar Spot Magic of Putjade (Imp) and Neptune is a real credit to him.

Neptune when growing would be a fabulous herd sire and with his great genetics, conformation and fleece would I am sure have some very special cria.

Kingsman is a striking male, with great fleece characteristics. He has wonderful density, with excellent coverage, fineness and uniformity. We love this boy’s solid, square confirmation, with great bone structure and beautiful Houghton head shape.

With the outstanding stud Houghton Noah II as his father, Kingsman has superb genetics, which shows in his style, fleece and presence. This year he has given us 5 grey cria, a stunning black and white multi and some other dark animals with superb fleeces.  A large breeder came to look at our cria and said he had produced cria with incredible fineness, uniformity and an impressive lack of strong fibres.

They also said that we would be crazy to sell him! But we now have so many of his genetics, we would not be using him to his full advantage. A half-brother of his, without such good coverage and very similar fleece stats, is going for £4500.
